How to use

Light your palo santo wood by holding the stick in an open flame at a downward 45 degree angle. Allow a small flame to catch on the wood. Remove it from the open flame and let the wood burn for 20-30 seconds before gently blowing it out.

Whilst holding the stick above a fireproof container, wave it around slowly to release it’s sweet scent. The wood will smoke for a few minutes allowing you to move around your room - relight the wood as necessary.

It can be helpful to repeat a prayer, mantra or affirmation that connects you to your intention for this ritual.

When ready, extinguish the palo santo wood by pressing the lit tip into the fireproof container or by applying a thin layer of sand. Check that it has ceased burning before leaving it. Never leave a burning item unattended.
